Wii U

With the Wii U haveng juzt been Wiicenty I think it's the best time to tell you what I think I felt the console from what I've heard (I dont have one).

First of all I am a big fan of Nintendo. I have SNES, N64, Nintendo DS, a broken Gameboy Advanced and a Wii which is backwards compatible with the Gamecube. Second of all I love the Wii it is a great console and those of you who know me we can attest to the facts. So it with great sadness that I say, the Wii U is an interesting looking console but I'm not interested in owning one. I find that all three of the features for having a Wii U are not interested in two me. These features are the controllers, the HD graphics and the exclusive titles.
The controller is unique but I've seen this gimickey thing before with the Gameboy Advance to GameCube adapteder and I fell for that gimic and found it wasn't worth it. Some games do you let you play them using the screen in the controller when someone else is using your TV. At the moment I'm the main person useing our big screen TV and if someone else wants to use it I will use one of my other consoles hooked up to my capture card.( you know I probably shouldn't be playing that many video games annways). Finally when I'm in front of my TV I'm going to be looking at my TV and for everything that you can put on the second screen like a map you can put on the first screen it's not that big of a problem. Basically the controller isn't of any interest too me.
HD graphics are nice but Skyward Sword and Red Steel 2 have amazing graphics on a HDTV being upscailed from 480P too 1080P. Now I Have a lot of old consoles and too me it's really all about the game play and storyline.
Lastly theres the exclusive titles. I Still have to beat Super Mario Galaxy 2 And the New Super Mario Bros which I'm borrowring from the library, so I don't need any of those new titlies on the Wii U. I still have to play through Metroid Prime 1 2and 3 but first I have too buy them. That does leave Legend of Zelda I'm not send to spend $300 just to play another Logound Of Zelda game.
therefore as you can see I don't have much interest in the Wii U it is not on my Christmas wish list.

P.S last more intrested use the Wii U with backwards compatible with the Gamecube then I could replace one with the other.
