Commmander

Here is a cool idea for a game called "Commander". It's fairly complicated so I am not sure if anyone will do it but I leave it here to be entertaining. The idea was Capture The Flag but everyone has a Walkie-Talkies. Mom pointed out that would be expensive, so you could have 2 Zoom conferences instead. You would play in a place with good Wifi.

Here is how it works! Each team has a small number of players. Everyone is a Private, except the Commander. The Commanders hides the flags while the Privates are told to stay put in the Deplomynet Room

To make it interesting, the Commanders can spy on each other after they have hidden they own flag. They would be a short time limit to hide their flags.(2 mintus or so) The commanders then go to The War Room NOT The Deploment Room. In my Library idea of the game, the Library staff then tell the Privates they can look for the flags. The Privates are never told where they own teams flag is hidden and this is where it starts getting crazy...

The War Room is the same for BOTH COMMANDERS. Headphones can be used but the commands still have to communicate with they team and WITHOUT the other commander overhearing. They also must stay within the room at all time with one exception: to use the bathroom.(in the library senero a staff member would stand in front of the War Room door and exsoct the commanders their). The commanders could discreatly deply troops over the Zoom connected smart phone or tablet. To make sure the other commander does not learn anything, some decore gaurds could be also deployed. Also it's totally fair for commanders to try and get information out of each other. Pysical touch of any kind would not be allowed and the staff would also watch for this.

Lastly you could have a lot of rounds so each person could try being a Commander.

???

So I saw this at McMasters and on the TVs at the library. The library staff member I spoke too says it does have to do with them but that's all I know or want to know.

I hope it means they where be a Mystery themed thing happening their soon! Maybe another Murder Mystery Night.

I also wonder if it has to do with the One Book One Halton Hills which will be annunced in June.

I'll say this whoever thought of this should be award the "Title" Super-Cool.

UPDATE May 20th: Today I saw this; Man this is starting to have Gravity Falls vibes!

Hopefully they are a bunch of codes for us to solve soon!

FINAL UPDATE: Well no clues to follow or Murder Mystery Party but it indeed is One Book One Halton Hills..

(Same question marks)

(Also sorry Aspect Ratio is wrong)

I am certainly am going to give that book a try.

I forgot to blog about it here but this gave me a cool idea for puzzles hidden with the library and you have to solve them to find a prize. Each puzzle answer would lead to the next and they would be clues in the library catalogue, the stacks(shelves) and the website. When you find the last clue it gives you a secret code you say to staff and get a prize(something they can give away to a lot of people like a pin).
