Xbox VS PS2

OK I forgot about this on Sunday, here we go.First of all I am a bit tired and don't feel like doing this now BUT it would probably be as complex for me to explain why and find another date for it, so I will do it now.

XBOX: 
  • Hard disk for saving games onto (20 points) 
  • Hard disk with the OS on it(- 10 points)*
  • Halo + Halo Multplayer ( + 10 points) 
  • 4 controller slots ( 5 points) 
  • More games at 1080P + best graphics of all the consoles of it's time ( + 15 points)
  • Better controllers ( + 2 points) 
  • A mini-wire so that you can't pull your console off it's resting place if you yank your controller.(I will put up a picture latter on in the week)( + 5 points) 
  • Sci-Phy dashboard (+ 1 point) 
  • Xbox Live( never used for it costs money and it's down now for original Xbox, so I don't know how many points to reward)  
TOTAL: 58(some one dubble check my math) 
 
* Statistically the hard drive is one of the most lickly parts of a computer to die and you can't EASILY back it up.(you would have to take apart you Xbox)

NOTE: Halo 2 is not on the list for I have not played it yet. 


PS2:
  • Does NOT have a hard drive( + 10 points) 
  • Memory cards must be used ( - 10 points) 
  • Final Fantasy 10, seven(which I never played), Kingdom Hearts and KH II, The Legend Of Dragon, etc(20 points)
  • Has USB( + 2 points) 
  • Internet is free( have not tried it, don't know if the sever is up) (? points)
  • Can play DVD's with out a $30 remote!( 2 points, 10 if I use it!)*
  • Like the name ( 1 point) 
TOTAL: 34 Points 
This games winner is... The Xbox!   I use the PS2 mainly for the excuesive titles.
Next week: Myst VS Riven(Riven wins :)

    Perhaps you could create a section where your readers could suggest & vote on what match-up they want to see you breakdown next? Star Trek - Original Series vs TNG? Tim Hortons vs Dunkin Donuts? Captain America vs Paul Gross in Due South? Bear vs Shark?

    I believe they allow third-party add-ons. But in the meantime, perhaps we could use the comments section for a suggestion box? Jean-Luc Picard with hair vs without?

    Elroy, I am curious to know how you found my blog when it's not googable and not on the "blog list"? I may have to tighten up security. Did you find it when I first made it because it might have been on the blog list by default. By the way since your here you can stay!
